Aligning efforts to help your child thrive

Early Intervention Program (EIP)

Or autism spectrum disorder (ASD)

The Early Intervention Program (EIP) is a public service designed for young children with special needs, who are less than three (3) years of age. Children with conditions that cause developmental delays, like Down syndrome, cerebral palsy, autism spectrum disorder, stuttering, articulation, feeding problems, expressive / receptive / pragmatic language delays, are eligible for the EIP Program. Additionally, children who don’t have a specific diagnosis but show significant developmental delays may also qualify.

Evaluations

We offer comprehensive speech-language therapy evaluations

We offer comprehensive speech-language therapy evaluations tailor-made to fit the needs of your child. We work closely with parents and teachers to determine the best approach for your child’s therapy needs.

An evaluation is the first important step in the therapeutic process. This consists of parent-report measures, relevant standardized testing and other informal assessments/observations while interacting with your child. After the evaluation, a comprehensive written report will be provided promptly. A treatment plan is developed as part of a collaborative process with the family, creating specific therapy goals and recommendations for your child.
