Hiring SLP (Speech Therapy) Supervisor for part time position in the Bronx, NY
Speech Kids NY is currently seeking a highly experienced and licensed Speech Therapy Supervisorto join our growing team in the Bronx. This is a part-time hybrid position (2 days/week) with the potential to transition to a full-time salaried role in the coming months.
Position Overview:
As a Speech Therapy Supervisor, you will provide clinical oversight to our team of speech-language providers, ensuring high-quality service delivery across settings. This role combines in-person supervision with remote documentation review and provider support.
Schedule & Compensation:
- 2 days per week to start
- Hybrid role:
- In-person supervision: $95/hour (W-2)
- Remote supervision duties: $70/hour (W-2)
- Reimbursement provided for:
- Travel between schools (paid time)
- Tolls, gas, and parking
*** Please note: The rates listed are starting rates and may be negotiable based on your supervisory experience.
In-Person Duties Include:
- Supervising speech providers at Bronx school sites
- Observing sessions and offering direct feedback
- Traveling between multiple schools as needed
Remote Duties Include:
- Auditing session notes and speech reports
- Reviewing speech referrals
- Providing constructive feedback and weekly supervision calls
Requirements:
- Active New York State SLP license
- 10+ years of experience as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Must have clinical experience across all age groups:
- Early Intervention (EI)
- Preschool
- School-age (all grades)
- Special Education experience strongly preferred
- Previous supervisory or mentorship experience preferred
- Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills
- Reliable transportation for travel between school locations
